This scholarship programme, called Estophilus, is founded by the Estonian Ministry of Education and Research, and aims at encouraging research in Estonia-related topics to promote the country’s global visibility. Being proficient in Estonian is not a requirement but will obviously be an advantage when applying for the scholarship.
The amount of the scholarship is 500€ per month for all the grantees, and the period spent in Estonia must be at least thirty days, and at most ten months. The scholarship should cover the living expenses, the tuition fees, and the expenses related to the research of the student. You will have to cover all other expenses (e.g. visa cost, if needed).
Your candidature must be sent in before March 1st 2017 or October 1st 2017, and you can send it up to one month before this deadline.
